• Best place to train in Longmont. World class BJJ, and a great Muay Thai team. Friendly atmosphere good for guys and girls alike. Good gym for people just doing it for fun or to stay in shape. And as far as I'm concerned the only place to train in Longmont if you are thinking about competing in BJJ, MMA, or Muay Thai.

  • Some of the best instruction I have ever received. Very well organized curriculum and a great variety of classes - BJJ, MMA, kickboxing, etc. It's the kind of place that when you put your jacket on and walk out at the end of your day, you really feel like you have accomplished something.

  • Great place to train. They offer day and night classes to fit your schedule. The instructors are knowledgeable and very technical while fostering a welcoming environment.

  • A "dark horse" is someone who comes from anonymity to achieve something great...that's you if you go to this school!   Dark Horse BJJ offers world-class instruction from two incredibly talented black belt instructors.  I've trained at many front range BJJ schools and Dark Horse is by far my favorite place to train.  The classes are not intimidating and the instructors promote an atmosphere that encourages everyone to take care of their partners.  The kids program is fantastic and they offer fitness classes and muay thai classes that are awesome workouts.  I'm in my late 30s and have lost 60lbs since I started BJJ!   This training gives you confidence, speed, agility, strength, power, and most of all: it's fun!  You can try some classes risk free...just come in for an introductory class and watch a class to see what you think.  Everyone is welcome at Dark Horse!
